The Decatur County Community Foundation has announced the finalists for Decatur County’s 2025/26 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.   Decatur County had 60 students begin the competitive process in August by completing an online application and a controlled essay. On Tuesday, November 11, local veterans are invited to stop by the Decatur County Community Foundation between 10am-6pm for a token of appreciation. For the sixth year in a row the Community Foundation is offering gift cards to local veterans in thanks for their service. New this year Veteran Service Officer, Ken Mobley, will be in attendance.
