Tickets are still available for “In Her League: Game On,” an event hosted by Decatur County Community Foundation to benefit the women and children of Decatur County. The event is set for April 29 th  at the Venue On Three in Westport. The evening will include dinner followed by a grant presentation to an organization that benefits local Decatur County women and/or children. The evening will wrap up with a panel of five females with ties to Decatur County who have seen success

Decatur County Community Foundation has announced details for this year’s event to support the Fund for Women and Children. On Wednesday, April 29 th , DCCF will host “In Her League: Game On”. The sports-themed event will include a panel of five women with local ties who are athletes and/or working in a sports-centric career. Panelists include: Angela (Gauck) Belter , two-time IHSAA state golf champion and golf pro Carol Blankman , two-time participant in International Dragon

Officials working toward a new Decatur County community pool are proud to release an official project status and fundraising update. ·        $4.5M total budget has been established. This includes: o   $3.9M Build-Operate-Transfer contract with Blue Escapes Pools of Greenwood   o   An additional $600,000 for locker room rehab, furniture, sail shades, and cabanas   ·        $3.5M in contributions to date including: o   $1M from the Decatur County Community Foundation
