Stories from the Grantees: Greensburg Community Bread of Life

The Greensburg Bread of Life (BOL) makes sure that the needy are taken care of. They provide food for those in need, and clothes for potential job interviews. They also supply people with items to help take care of themselves over the weekend when the BOL isn't open. As part of these supplies they sometimes provide recipes so people can learn to make food for themselves over the weekend.

The Bread of Life wanted to make note that they are incredibly thankful to The Decatur County Community Foundation. BOL executive director Melissa Foist stated that "I love the Foundation because without them we wouldn't have been able to grow this much. They are so easy to access and work with to get what we need to help give back to the community."
