Stories from the Grantees: Recover Out Loud Recovery Retreat

In August, Recovery Out Loud received a Recovery + Prevention Grant from Decatur County Community Foundation. This grant helped fund their 4th annual Recovery Retreat.

The Recovery Retreat helps people's health and wellness. Their 2021 Recovery Retreat maintains a 100% success rate, as all of the individuals who attended are still sober and active in their recovery.

"This retreat has been an impactful experience for the last 4 years, and thank you so much for contributing and sponsoring this year's experience of the sober campers!" - Meagan Cothron.

Although DCCF no longer specifically offers Prevention + Recovery grants, organizations working in this capacity are welcome to apply for funding through our regular grants process.
